Lisa Napoli’s third book, Up All Night: Ted Turner, CNN and the Birth of 24-Hour News will be published by Abrams Press in May. She’s currently at work on a book about the founding mothers of NPR. A journalist and broadcaster, Lisa's first book was about helping to start a radio station in the Kingdom of Bhutan at the dawn of democratic rule. Her second was a biography of the late philanthropist, Joan Kroc, and tells the true story of the founding of McDonald’s.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, her fascination with the history of downtown Los Angeles has kept her resident there for nearly 16 years.http://www.lisanapoli.com
