If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to bring history alive, this panel is for you. From weekend battlefield reconstructions to stepping into the shoes of American icons, we’ll explore the world of living historians and reenactors.

Moderator Garry Adelman of the American Battlefield Trust will be joined by Dean Malisa, the nation’s preeminent George Washington portrayer; Jackie Murray, a writer and actress whose one-woman show depicting the life of Harriet Tubman has played to thousands of students and James Taub, an educator who tackles the lives of everyday soldiers from wars stretching over more than 200 years of American history.
