25 years after Harry Potter became a phenomenon, questions challenge the Wizarding World created by J. K. Rowling. Rowling’s negative comments about transgender people sparked criticism from a number of Potter insiders, up to and including Daniel Radcliffe. Tiny Professor Flitwick offers examples of what still works in the Potterverse. Flitwick presents significant aspects of diversity: mixed race, outside of gender stereotypes, and invisible despite astounding accomplishments. Professor Flitwick is a social justice warrior. Warning: likely to “Say Gay” in Florida.
