Welcome to discussion concerning Snape and his part in both of Sybill Trelawney's true prophesies, including the layers of choices and happenstance that led to both the death and resurrection of the Dark Lord. How many factors needed to line up for there to be a Boy-Who-Lived? How did one man's immaturity and impulsiveness guarantee the Dark Lord's return? And how, if possible, could these things have still come to fruition if Snape had kept his abnormally large nose out of other people’s business?
