The name of the game is...quadball! In 2022, three of the largest organizations for the sport formerly known as quidditch announced that they'd be updating the name of the popular pastime. This is the latest step in a long process of allowing quadball to fly high as a Muggle sport, apart from its origins in the Harry Potter universe. In this program, representatives from US Quadball (USQ) will trace the history of the game from the first team at Middlebury College, to the development of the Quidditch World Cup, to the proliferation of teams around the world, through to its status today as an exciting and inclusive sport for players of all levels and identities.
