Jane Burson is an illustrator and designer from Austin, Texas. Jane has long had a passion for art, the material culture of textiles & apparel, and geeky media. A fan of fandom itself, she is particularly interested in the awe-inspiring creativity and inventiveness of transformative fanworks. Since winning the 2018 SDCC Her Universe Fashion Show, Jane has focused on exploring ‘geek couture’ as a natural marriage of all these interests, and as an fascinating way for fans to signal and express their personal identity, creativity, and passions.
