This presentation provides analysis and discussion of when music and song appear in the books and how the theme is treated by J.K. Rowling, especially as a healing device. Though music is not something primarily focused on in the novels, it occurs throughout and is an important element in the series. Discover what sort of important messages are hidden through the use of music. Topics covered will include phoenix song, the Sorting Hat's song, Hagrid's flute, and more!
