In this roundtable we will discuss how the Harry Potter series analogizes real-world political and social issues in order to present these themes to young audiences. Finally, we will consider the challenges and benefits of using Harry Potter as a pedagogical tool to empower children and young adults to address contemporary social and political issues in their own lives and to embody the values of their beloved characters.
