Rainbow Rowell

Participates in 9 items
Rainbow Rowell earned a journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1995 and, at 24, became the youngest-ever – and first female – columnist at the Omaha World-Herald. Though her first novel, Attachments, is set in a newsroom, it couldn’t be less of a true story. She met her husband in junior high and can hardly get him to read her books, let alone her emails. Her second novel,Eleanor & Park – sort of an East Omaha Romeo & Juliet – is out now, and has been option by Dreamworks for the big screen. (If you likedAttachments, you might like this one, too. The stakes are higher. And there’s more kissing.) Her third book,Fangirl, is a tale of love and fandom that explores the experience of a fangirl. Find out more about her atrainbowrowell.com
