Fanfiction is a very polarizing topic. It seems that someone will either love or hate it and it can be difficult to express what the appeal of fanfic really is. As an author and occasional fanfic writer, I think it’s not only fun to read, it bolsters the creative mind and offers writers skills to add to their repertoire! This will be a silly, casual, but step-by-step talk outlining the things that make fanfic not just a fun hobby but actually beneficial to your writing career.
