Throughout his travels through space and time, the Doctor has gone through many transformations and has a host of companions. Throughout the Russell T. Davies era of Doctor Who, however, the Doctor embarked on a journey that seems strikingly similar to the metamorphosis that occurs during the alchemical process. Explore and delve into the deeper symbols at work during this story arc and examine the 10th Doctor's three main companions, Rose, Martha, and Donna, and their corellation to the three main stages of alchemy.
