Mallory Rubin is the Executive Editor of The Ringer, and one of the founding editorial members of the site. She is one of the co-hosts of the company’s live-streaming Twitter Game of Thrones after show Talk the Thrones, where she serves as one of the Ringer’s experts on the land of ice and fire (and is the resident direwolf enthusiast). She and Jason Concepcion also co-host the Binge Mode podcast, which has covered Game of Thrones and Harry Potter, among other pop culture and literary obsessions, and which was named Time magazine’s no. 1 podcast of 2017 and no. 4 podcast of 2018. Before joining The Ringer, Rubin was a senior editor at Grantland and Sports Illustrated’s website, SI.com. A Baltimore native and Syracuse alum, she loves fantasy literature, disappointing sports teams, food delivery apps, and her cat, Halo.
