Melissa experienced the loss of a beloved sibling at an early age, making the world of J. K. Rowling, and all of its death, grief (and hope in the face of these), a familiar and comfortable place for her. Knowing how hard facing these truths can be, she has been able to use her profession in Cosmetology to improve End of Life Care for elderly and hospice patients.
