In the books, the Marauders are a near constant presence, looking after Harry and influencing his actions and opinions; but in the films, they have a vastly diminished role. We’ll compare the book and movie Marauders, and talk about how different factors - like age and appearance of the characters, and reduced story time - impact how they’re misrepresented in the movies and received by different parts of the audience.
