Rebecca Lavoie is the host and creator of Crime Writers On... the original podcast that reviews other true crime podcasts, documentaries, and crime-adjacent pop culture. She also co-hosts These Are Their Stories, a podcast about the absurdities of SVU, Law & Order, and the ripped-from-the-headlines cases that inspire that universe. As the host of the Netflix podcast You Can't Make This Up, Rebecca interviews directors and producers about documentaries of all stripes, including true crime, sports, and feuds among subcultures. 

By day, Rebecca leads the podcast journalism team at New Hampshire Public Radio, an award-winning station that has produced shows including Bear Brook, The 13th Step, Civics 101, and Outside/In.

Before becoming a podcaster, Rebecca co-wrote several mass-market true crime titles with her husband and constant collaborator, Kevin Flynn.
