USA Basketball Clinic: Coaching for Gold

Creating a Gold Standard culture for your team takes place both on and off the court. USA Basketball, the National Governing Body of basketball in the United States, discusses the four-level teaching format in the Player Development Curriculum to guide coaches on proper ways to instruct players of all ability levels. This clinic shares coaching strategies used with USA Basketball National Teams and how to coach with a gold medal mentality. Led by USA Basketball Youth & Sport Development Director Jay Demings and undefeated 10-time FIBA gold medalist coach Don Showalter, coaches will leave the session with a better overall understanding of the USA Basketball philosophy to impart within their program.
