
Tavaras Hardy was named the 21st head men’s basketball coach at Loyola University Maryland on March 28, 2018. A noted recruiter, Hardy served on coaching staffs in the Big Ten, Big East and Atlantic Coast Conferences over the 12 seasons prior to coming to Loyola. Hardy was an All-Big Ten player at Northwestern University as a collegian, and spent the previous two seasons on the staff at Georgia Tech, where he spearheaded two nationally ranked recruiting classes. In 2016-17, Hardy and the Yellow Jackets reached the championship game of the NIT.
