Lance Loya has spent over a decade as a head coach at the collegiate level. He is currently the all-time winningest coach in Mount Aloysius College men’s basketball history.
Although Loya presently coaches at the collegiate level, he has been a coach at nearly every level of basketball, including elementary, junior high, and varsity. His youth basketball camps are attended by several hundred players every summer, and have proven to be exceptionally popular with aspiring basketball players, due largely to the camps’ emphasis on teamwork.
The lessons taught at his camps have led to the release of his equally popular children’s book, titled Be a Good Teammate, where readers are reminded that good teammates care, good teammates share, and good teammates listen™.
