ATLANTIC SLAM

Atlantic Slam - November 16th to 19^th, 2023

Atlantic Slam is a celebration of basketball highlighted by an NCAA, D1 MTE (Multi Team Event) held in Moncton, New Brunswick. This will be Atlantic Canada's first MTE. Teams will compete in the new Avenir Center, https://www.avenircentre.com  This 8500 - seat arena was co-host to the 2022/23 World Junior Hockey Championship and home to Team USA. Atlantic Slam will involve all levels of the community including children's tournaments, an International Prep School tournament, charity dinners plus an East Coast Kitchen Party.....

Atlantic Slam’s MTE Games will be televised across Canada and available to the competing schools for US distribution 

Located at the heart of Atlantic Canada, Moncton has earned a strong reputation as solid event host, having successfully hosted several international championships and numerous national competitions in recent years. With the state-of-the-art Avenir Centre, a strong base of welcoming volunteers, and its excellent event hosting track record, Moncton is sure to impress eventgoers and event participants during Atlantic Slam. Moncton’s vibrant culture, various tourist attractions, and exciting urban life are sure to enhance everyone’s event experience. While in Moncton, guests are encouraged to check out the amazing Tidal Bore phenomenon of the Petitcodiac River, discover the 50 outdoor art murals in the downtown core, take advantage of the great nightlife and experience the many diverse entertainment options the city has to offer!

Atlantic Slam is owned and produced by On Ice Entertainment Ltd.  NCAA basketball coach Jeff Dunlap is available to answer all your basketball inquiries, while representatives from On Ice Entertainment will assist and answer your questions dealing with travel, accommodations, boarder crossing and even “What is a kitchen party!”.  Each competing University/Team will be assigned their own event coordinator.  

On Ice Entertainment Ltd. has a long history of working with NHL and NBA clubs, International Soccer teams from the Championship, and La Liga, as well as the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL.
