I was a walk-on baseball player at Gonzaga University for all four years of my college career. While I was never the best player on my team, it was a dream of mine to play baseball at Gonzaga, and I enjoyed every aspect of my experience there. I would not trade my career (that did not include a lot of playing time) for anything in the world. That was mainly due to how I was treated as a human, not just an athlete. My teammates, coaches and the Gonzaga Athletics administration treated me the same as our star players, and I knew from that point on, my personal mission in life would be to give back the experience I had, to future student-athletes. My work allows me to do just that, as our company focuses on seeing student-athletes as humans first, and athletes second. By pouring into their Mental Strength and Well-Being as humans, they are able to use tangible tools to help them not only on the court/field/water, but also in life.
