Athletic Recovery for Basketball: Recovery refers to techniques and actions to maximize your body's repair. Serious athletes must: rest, restore and rejuvenate between workouts so the body can: repair, rebuild and strengthen itself. Athletic Recovery allows your body to adapt and compensate, which both lead to an increase in performance. Recovery is cumulative, allowing your body to recover from a combination of workouts, not just the last one. Unfortunately, many of us take better care of our cars than we do our bodies. Covering: sleep, rest, hydration / rehydrate, nutrition, stretch it out - flexibility, breathing & mindfulness (mindset), message, recovery days, etc.
