
Tobin has just completed his first season as Head Coach of Iona University in the competitive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. He arrived at Iona after engineering one of the great upsets in NCAA Tournament history when his Fairleigh Dickenson Knights upset #1 seeded Purdue to reach the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament last year. Tobin is highly respected in coaching circles rising through the ranks first in Div III at Hamilton College and Clarkson College in upstate New York winning multiple conference championships and playing in the Div III National Tournament. Following 2 years as a Div I Assistant Coach at Sienna College, he became Head Coach at Div II St. Thomas Aquinas College in New York for 9 seasons. He is a lecturer and clinician at the nation's two most prestigious basketball camps; Hoop Group Elite and Five-Star Basketball Camp. Tobin played collegiate basketball at Wesleyan University where he finished 11th on their list of all time scorers in school history.

The International Coaches Forum will feature the NCAA Eligibility Center providing the most current rule changes and impact for coaches and their recruiting calendars with regards to the recruitment of international players. Panel discussion will focus on the rapidly changing dynamics in recruiting international players from high school to the pro's and the impact of those challenges.
