Rodney Terry was named Acting Head Coach at The University of Texas a few hours prior to the Dec. 12 home game against Rice. He was named Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the 2022-23 season on Jan. 5. Terry brings 27 years of collegiate coaching experience to the Texas staff, including nine as an assistant previously with the Longhorns from 2002-11. He was in his second year as Associate Head Coach at Texas prior to being named Interim Head Coach.
