Kristan is a senior manager on the East Regional team for Best Friends Animal Society. She focuses on providing resources, supporting collaboration between shelters, and other projects to help increase live outcomes. Kristan began her career just about 15 years ago and has worked in many capacities at different types of agencies. Everything from adoptions, transport, foster, volunteer, emergency response, overall shelter operations and more. She lives in New York with her husband Matt, a dachshund, Little, and a chatty cat, Finn.
