CherylAnn Fernandes has worked in sheltering for over twenty-seven years. Received her Bachelor’s Degree in
Humane Leadership from Duquesne University. She has spent time as an animal control officer, as a shelter director
and in-house staff trainer specializing in program development & staff coaching. She currently works for PetLink, a
30 year old international manufacturer of universal microchips and scanners. Much of her free time is spent with her
animal control officer boyfriend and volunteering as a board member for a local Spay/Neuter clinic.
