Hanna is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of Impact by Design, a non-profit consulting firm that partners with mission-driven organizations to help them maximize their impact. She has been working with animal welfare organizations in the U.S. and abroad for over 15 years, and has a deep understanding and appreciation for animal welfare work from first-hand experience working for organizations such as The MSPCA, The Washington Humane Society (now the Humane Rescue Alliance), SASHA Farm Animal Sanctuary, The World Society for the Protection of Animals (now World Animal Protection) and the International Fund for Animal Welfare. Her career started with mucking barns, cleaning cages, and coordinating adoptions, but has evolved into extensive work on community stakeholder planning, nonprofit operations, facilitation, and training design for teams around the world.  She has worked with organizations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Indonesia, South Africa, and across Europe. Hanna holds an MBA from IE University in Spain in Global Business Administration, an MS from Tufts University in Animals and Public Policy, and a BA with Honors from University of Michigan in English and Writing.
