Foster parents are some of the most valuable volunteers an organization can have. It’s the organization’s responsibility to make sure they are well supported and able to fulfill their critical role. In this session we will outline the multiple areas in which HRA has implemented mechanisms that aid in providing a consistent and supportive experience for foster parents – including in the matchmaking and case management processes. We’ll cover ways in which technology has assisted with improved customer service and how to ‘employ’ volunteers to help a program expand its ability to support both foster parents and animals.
