Advocacy

As our understanding of animals, animal welfare and animals as sentient beings has grown, the need to improve our public policies has become a significant issue. However, meaningful change in animal welfare policies and practices cannot be obtained without reaching key constituents with the right message, but how is this best accomplished?

This presentation will share some of the restrictions that different kinds of organizations have on their education and advocacy, and shares some best practices for how to accomplish these goals.
