Melissa McCue-McGrath, CPDT-KA is the author of "Considerations for the City Dog," (published in 2015) and her new book directed to those who want to work with animals will be available later this year.

She is a certified professional dog trainer in Greater Boston with over 15 years of experience. She grew up in an accidental dog-sledding family in rural Maine and now sits as the co-Training Director of New England Dog Training Club, the oldest AKC obedience club in the country, and is a senior instructor at MSPCA. Melissa teaches a variety of classes, including Disc Dogs, scent work, and CGC preparation, in addition to private consultations where she evaluates and helps dogs who are having an increasingly difficult time living in urban areas.

Melissa has found her niche presenting on where "Save Them All" intersects with click-and-ship culture in both rescue and purebred dogs. She also gives presentations to rescues, owners and dog trainers on why the environment a pet will ultimately live is just as important for the success of an individual dog with a family as age, energy level and breed type, maybe more.
