Jodi Lytle Buckman most recently served as the Vice President of National Outreach and Grantmaking for the ASPCA. Jodi led a team that provided over $100 million dollars in grantmaking over 10 years to animal welfare and protection organizations throughout the United States. Her work also included cultivating partnerships between the ASPCA and others at the national level, and supporting the work of other organizations by serving on multiple boards of directors, including The Association for Animal Welfare Advancement, Animal Grantmakers and Shelter Animals Count.


With 30 years of experience working in nonprofit animal welfare and protection, she’s worked locally, leading animal shelters in Maine, Minnesota and Ohio, and nationally for the American Humane Association as well as the ASPCA. Jodi’s areas of interest include leadership, governance, grantmaking and work in support of pets and their people. She achieved the Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA) designation in 2006.


With her children, Sam and Zoë, and canine companions, Owen and Ollie; Jodi lives in Flagstaff, Arizona.
