Retired after 35 years as executive director in animal welfare in Rhode Island. Former board member of NEFHS as well as the Society of Animal Welfare Administrators (now called Association for Animal Welfare Advancement).  Served on the National Companion Animal Advisory Group for the HSUS.  After retirement I was a consultant for Bayer Animal Health and currently serve on the board of the Companion Animals Foundation in Rhode Island.  The NEFHS conference is always inspiring and a great conference with many friends in attendance.
