Laney Nee, CPDT-KA is the Canine Behavior Manager at the Animal Rescue League of Boston and is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. She has been in this role for more than five years and has been educating and training staff, volunteers, and foster caregivers on animal behavior, training, and enrichment to help improve the lives of shelter animals. Laney started her career as a volunteer and foster caregiver so she has first-hand knowledge of the challenges and successes that come with being a foster caregiver. She also manages the Free Pet Behavior Helpline and Post Adopt Follow-up program at ARL.

The panelists will describe how their organizations have rebooted their foster programs to engage more foster volunteers by specific foster need, break down barriers to fostering, increase training, and gain support for some animals that have been hard to find foster options for.
