Kate Meghji is the CEO of the Humane Society of Vero Beach & Indian River County, Florida. Meghji has been in the animal welfare field for nearly two decades. She holds a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and biochemistry from Evergreen College and a masters of business administration from the University of Illinois. Meghji is lucky to share her life with her husband, daughter, senior pitty Lola, Axel the guinea pig, and assorted fish and reptiles. She is a passionate advocate for data-driven and common sense solutions to increase lifesaving and keep pets healthy, happy, and in their families for the long haul.
