Barbara A. McLean, MBA, CAWA, has successfully led organizations through change in her roles as an Executive Director of animal welfare organizations, as a board member, and as a consultant to various other nonprofits.  She has experienced firsthand what works and what doesn't. With a background in Leadership and Organizational Behavior, Barbara pulls the research and data and applies it to real life examples of managing successfully through change.  Trained as an adult educator, Barbara is also an experienced and engaging speaker and workshop facilitator, best-selling author and coach.  As a mom to a rescued dog and 2 teenage boys, she is committed to enriching the human-animal bond and helping animal shelters to achieve more of an impact.
