Sam is the Director of Community Operations at the Animal Rescue League of Boston overseeing programs that support people and animals within their own communities Sam began her animal welfare career as a veterinary assistant at a high volume spay neuter clinic in New Jersey and worked in a variety of veterinary and animal shelter settings before joining ARL. She holds a master’s in animals and public policy from Tufts University. Sam has supported the establishment of multiple community centered programs including a pet food and supply delivery program, a mobile wellness clinic, and a temporary pet housing program.
