Rebecca Martin

In 2016 Rebecca and her husband rescued a litter of sick, orphaned neonatal kittens. This was a life-changing experience for them. They quickly realized the importance of timely intervention for kittens that were so young and fragile and that there were few educational resources and accessible supplies for neonatal kittens. In 2018 they founded Rhode Island Kitten Kits, a nonprofit organization, that educates fosters on all aspects of neonatal kitten care. They also give foster homes free supplies needed to succeed. In addition, they do emergency assessments for local rescues that intake neonatal kittens and remain available to mentor fosters.
