
Alyssa Krieger joined the MSPCA in 2010 as and adoption counselor and then as the manager of the Boston Adoption Center. While animals are what brought Alyssa to this work, people are what kept her in it. When the MSPCA began a Pets For Life program in 2018, it was Alyssa who spearheaded the program, which has grown from one person knocking on doors to a robust team serving 10 communities in Massachusetts.

When organizations launch access to care programs like Pets for Life, we often think of them as standalone programs. The MSPCA and Wisconsin Humane Society have access to care programs that have impacted nearly every aspect of our orgs.
