Participe à 1 Session
"Bruce Taylor, aka. "Mr. Magic Realism" (think "Twilight Zone") writes magic realism. The anthology, "Like Water for Quarks," co-edited with Elton Elliott, former editor of "The Science Fiction Review" illustrates the blending of magic realist writing style with science fiction and with such writers as Ray Bradbury, Connie Wills, shows the direction that Bruce and Mr. Elliot believe science fiction can go. Bruce has been called, "The transformational figure for science fiction." Bruce has many titles out: "The Final Trick of Funnyman" (Introduction by John Dalmas) "Edward: Dancing on the Edge of Infinity" "Kafka's Uncle and Other Strange Tales" (forward by Brian Herbert and nominated for the &NOW Award for Innovative Writing, at SUNY, NY) Two of three spiritual books are available (“Mountains of the Night", "Magic of Wild Places"). He is co-author with Brian Herbert on "Stormworld", a novel about global warming. Recent novels are "Industrial Carpet Drag” (For recent titles, go to ReAnimus Books) He is in the ground-breaking anthology, "Darke Phantastique" edited by Jason and Sunni Brock and, similar to "Like Water for Quarks," illustrates the impact of Magic Realism on horror. He resides in Seattle with his partner, Roberta Gregory and their hyper-bright Tuxedo Cat, Roo-Prrt,
