A United States Navy veteran, Chris Corbitt, Corbo Cosplay, is an amateur costumer/cosplayer who mostly dabbles in super hero, sci-fi, fantasy, and video game characters. From a young age there seemed to be a costume bug in his life, from chopping off the fingers of a winter set of gloves to look like Gambit from the X-Men, this resulted in punishment following by wearing mittens for the rest of that winter. In 2006 Chris met his wife who is also an costumer and from there the costumer bug took complete hold bringing Chris to assemble his first ever costume Chris Redfield from Resident Evil 1 (the video game). Along the years Chris amassed a small army of costumes all of which were bought or assembled from various locations. It wasn't until 2012 when Chris was gifted a light up arc reactor shirt that he branched more into super hero costumes/cosplays. Continuing to pick up fully built costumes or assembling them from different mediums. Chris did start to nail down some skills with the sewing machine, foam work, and operating of at least one 3d printer and resin printer. For a time, Chris was also the President of Beyond Reality Costumer's Guild from the Seattle, WA area. You can find Chris using his costumes/cosplay to help make some lives brighter with Costumed Characters for Causes out of Seattle, WA area or the New Avengers of New Mexico out of the Albuquerque, NM area.
