Don't have time to build a breastplate for your cosplay?  Take a basic underbust corset and cover it in fabric to match or enhance your cosplay instead!  Learn how to cover a basic underbust corset with cotton cosplay print fabrics.  You will learn how to add fabric to two different types of corset panels, one with a straight side and a semi-curved side, and another with two curved sides.  This class requires attendees to bring their own sewing machine.  

Workshop materials fee:  $43 (includes basic underbust corset in your waist size and Hera marker)

Waist size received no later than April 12.

Attendees need to supply:

1 yard of woven cotton fabric (this allows extra for cutting mistakes)

Sewing machine in good working order with regular sewing foot and zipper foot (if you have one)

Size 80/12 or 90/14 sewing machine needles (plus at least one extra needle)

Thread (either black or to match your fabric) and bobbin wound with matching thread

Fabric scissors (must be able to cut fabric)

Seam ripper

Sewing clips or small binder clips (4), plus medium binder clip or elastic hair band

Optional: Stiletto (I use my seam ripper as a stiletto)
