As humans move deeper into space, NASA and its partners will have to find ways to keep astronauts healthy for longer periods of time. In this session, we will tie in NASA’s work on deep space flight with biology, human anatomy and physiology, and other topics you cover in your normal classrooms. Come dressed to move as we dive into a NASA Educator Guide, built models, and test our own fitness and mobility. (Note: It has come to the presenter’s attention that occasionally a rare student may be found in classrooms that would benefit from an excuse to get up and move during the day. This session may help with that.)
