I am Disable Vietnam Marine. I taught and retired with 34 years as High School Computer Instructor. I am a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador for 20 years. I am a United States Space Foundation Discovery Officer (member of the Second Flight). I am presently a Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Officer with 15 years of service. I am a graduate of the California NASA Teacher Workshop. I participate in the T.R.U.E. (Teacher Research Update Experience) Biomedical/Robotic Program at the University of Florida. I graduate from the Colorado Spring, Colorado Northrop Grumman Zero Gravity Flight Experience. I studied Oceanography and Meteorology at U.S. Naval Academy. I participated in University of Arizona Mars Program.
I received the Texas 2017 Civil Air Patrol Aerospace Education Officer of the Year. I also earned the US Air Force pilot General Charles E Yeager Award. I received my USMC Honorable Discharge and an E-3 Meritorious Rank.
My high school students and I participate in the Marshell Space Center Astronaut Personal Assistant Program in Huntsville, Alabama. I taught English as a Second Language at Sunland Park, NM for the Las Cruces Community College for 12 years. I taught Business Law and Office Machines at the Durham Business College for 5 years.
