I have a passion for learning, and that passion is something that I want to be able to teach students how to develop. I cannot express how happy I was to secure my first teaching position. I absolutely love being a teacher and work very hard to give my students as many opportunities to engage with instruction as I can. Within my first few years of teaching science, I started seeking ways to bring more hands-on learning and student engagement into my classroom. My success at securing funding and support for my classroom and students has made my science class a place where students tell me that they can't wait to come to class and are hesitant to leave.
