Laura is a District Science Coach in the 7th Largest School District in the U.S.  In that role, she supports the science teachers at 20 schools. For the past 12 years, she has also been a science content trainer and curriculum writer.  The advent of Covid has added the skill of virtual content writer on the Canvas Platform.  An alumna of Honeywell's Educator Space Academy in 2010, her passion for earth/space science has resulted in leading tours for numerous schools through the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.  Organizing Family Stem Nights is also a passion as she works to keep families excited about science through hands-on activities that can be enlarged upon at home.  She has been an educator in Hillsborough County for 38 years.
