Grade K- 5 Elementary
On demand:
In this hands-on session, students will participate in activities geared for the lower primary student (grades K-2, easily adapted up to grade 4) specifically surrounding Gateway, the space station that will orbit the Moon and support NASA's Artemis missions. Students will analyze animal habitats on Earth as inspiration to create their own Gateway module to sustain human life. Students will also design a Gateway emblem as a team to reflect the value of team members, participate in movement/singing activities, create a comic adventure, and explore literature to get every student fired up about space!
