Did you know that there is a "Space Garden" growing on the International Space Station? Come and discover NASA STEMonstrations (STEM demonstrations conducted on the International Space Station)-Properties of Water and explore how astronauts on the International Space Station water vegetables growing in microgravity! Join us in this hands-on, minds-on session as we will explore "What is it about water that makes it so important for life?" with Next Gen STEM activities that really engage students to utilize their creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. Attendees come away with instructional PowerPoints, videos, and links to even more standards aligned resources ready to use! This session will end with sharing exciting NASA STEM resources and ways to inspire the next generation of innovators.
