Participants will use two 3D printing techniques to build a habitat for the moon. One technique will utilize a 3D pen, the other will use regolith-like materials. The Artemis ROADS II (Rover Observations and Discoveries in Space) framework explores NGSS aligned hands-on STEM activities for students in grades 3 – 12. Students model their own NASA mission through activities which include surveying the landscape (via robot), preparing to launch a rocket and simulating living and working on the moon. ROADS takes inspiration from real NASA missions. Links to online resources provided.
