Participants learn the importance of electrostatics and its presence on our world and in space. Activities will include learning the origin, transfer, and measurement of electrostatic charges and its transportation within spacecraft materials. The resulting effects/hazards of unwanted electrostatic charges will be addressed as well as possible mitigation strategies.
