If you've ever wanted to know how Korean pop music found its way into American pop culture, then this is the panel for you! Join WV-based dance team Orpheus Beat as we discuss K-culture, the language barrier, and why we love this stuff. Stay and dance with us after the presentation - we'll teach you the moves!
Three contestants compete in three rounds where the answers are given first and they must supply the questions. Example: "It is held once a year in West Virginia and is known as the convention with wings." If you said, "What is Tsubasacon?", then you are correct! Let's play!
Step right back, come right in, here's where the fun begins! We'll talk about the origins, mercurial rise, and abrupt fall of the beloved syndicated cartoons block. With shows such as Ducktales, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, etc this was the best reason 90s kids ever had to skip their homework.
Name that Tune : Villain theme Edition. There will be a limited amount of participates that will try to guess the selected themes and which villain it goes with. A special ribbon will be for the contestants and one for the winner. The music will be from Games, Anime, and Movies. The winners from Round One, will go to Round Two where there they will guess another theme, and will continue until there will be only one: The Conductor of the Night.
