Death Stranding is an absurd video game. It is surreal and unbelievable, sure, but it goes on a journey beyond nihilism, illustrating the absurdist philosophy of Albert Camus in the process. Come along with me, and I'll share a story about how a video games taught me a new way to live life. When I'm done, I'd like to hear your stories about how games can carry us past hopelessness. Content note: The absurd philosophy of Albert Camus openly discusses death and despair. Participant discretion may be advisable.
